At this point in time, both Faires are byob events.  We are trying to obtain a beer and wine license, but we have to satisfy several State requirements.  Patrons may bring a cooler with beer and/or wine into the Faire with them.  No food, except baby food or special diet foods, will be allowed into the Faire grounds.

Come on out and enjoy a day of jousting, chugging, Bocce call, rat pucking, and of course good food and friends.

The Central Texas Renaissance Faires are not set in a specific time period.  This allows the patrons to wear more eclectic costumes.  While we don't expect to see many time travelers from the future, we do expect to see time travelers from 400 B.C to 1600 A.D. as well as people from the current time period.

Camelot Village is a charming hamlet on the West coast of England and close to the disputed Scottish border.  With a secluded harbor only a few miles away, this town has drawn a wide diversity of people from all over the known world since the Village was founded in the 5th Century.

Twice a year a Market Faire is held in the Village.  Traders from England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland and even farther away are drawn to Camelot.  Because the Faires were established through tradition, the markets were never given a charter.

The market is a busy affair drawing crowds from all around the area.  Visitors will find games, entertainment, and interesting shops, where one will find it fun to wander around the stalls and listen to the banter of the traders!

The Spring Faire occurs early in the year in February. It coincides with the Celtic holiday Imbolc and takes advantage of the fair weather in the Irish Sea. The Summer Faire in June occurs around the summer solstice on the Feast of St. John the Baptist and during the Celtic holiday of Litha.

So slip into your period attire and come enjoy a day of merriment at the Faire in Camelot Village.
