About the Central Texas Renaissance Faire

The Central Texas Renaissance Faires are not set in a specific time period.  This allows the patrons to wear more eclectic costumes.  While we don't expect to see many time travelers from the future, we do expect to see time travelers from 400 B.C to 1600 A.D. as well as people from the current time period.

Camelot Village is a charming hamlet on the West coast of England and close to the disputed Scottish border.  With a secluded harbor only a few miles away, this town has drawn a wide diversity of people from all over the known world since the Village was founded in the 5th Century.

Twice a year a Market Faire is held in the Village.  Traders from England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland and even farther away are drawn to Camelot.  Because the Faires were established through tradition, the markets were never given a charter.

The market is a busy affair drawing crowds from all around the area.  Visitors will find games, entertainment, and interesting shops, where one will find it fun to wander around the stalls and listen to the banter of the traders!
